i’m a first year multimedia journalism student, and in almost every subject introduction lecture from the start of my course i’ve heard “you all really should have your own blog”, and honestly, at first i kinda just ignored it because i’ve wanted to start one for a long time, and i actually remember sitting down about six or seven months ago trying to figure out what on earth i could possibly have a blog on – what would i talk about?
i genuinely enjoy SO many things outside, online and just in life in general. so for me to choose one topic to base a blog on deemed to be a very difficult task when i actually thought about it, but i’ve come to the conclusion that i really don’t need to have a blog on one set subject or topic, i can write about whatever i want to, and i can write about the things i love and things that i’m passionate about – so, that’s what i’m going to do.
this blog will have posts of talking about various different things, from world and social issues and more journalistic pieces to reviews on entertainment and posts purely about my thoughts. potentially at some point even lifestyle, beauty and fashion topics (depending on whether i think i’m cool enough at that point).
for now though, i’m planning on posting at the least, once a week, and i’m really excited to see where this blog will go and i really hope you are willing to support me and come along with me for the ride!
